Tina and Ron's sunset wedding

Stevie and Bob traveled to beautiful Lido Key (Sarasota, FL) for Tina Billmaier and Ron Shapiro's wedding day. Although a bit colder than expected, the sunset was beautiful. The beach was snow white and the couple exchanged vows amongst close friends and family. A lovely reception followed at the Lido Beach Resort. The evening ended with the groom and friends playing music and singing along.

Sandcastles in Naples

Grand Lubell is off to Florida for the destination wedding of Tina and Ron, but not without a few days off. Monday we visited the beach at the Ritz Carlton, Naples to find sand artist Victor Leong of Miami Beach Sandcastles. A true artist, Victor works only with his hands and water drip to sculpture. Did I mention that the temperature was about 45 degrees with 40 mile per hour gusts off the gulf? The work is fantastic and would be even more spectacular if we could have seen the night show. If the wind was down, they would have added flaming towers to the castle.

Tuesday we will shoot Tina and Ron's wedding on the beach in Sarasota at the Lido Beach Resort. We hope to brave 55 degrees and 8 mile per hour winds.

Corda Ryan and Brad VanderVlutch- Toledo Wedding Photography

Corda and Brad should have no problems remembering their wedding date of 10/10/10. A very unique ceremony and reception were held on the rooftop of LaSalle Apartment Building.

Nobody could deny that Corda was an absolutely stunning bride.

Guests enjoyed a variety of foods up on the rooftop.

Brad could not take his eyes off of his beautiful bride.

The couple gazes off into their future life together.

Stevie had fun photographing Corda and Ryan in such a fun, unique setting. After taking engagement and wedding photos of Mr. and Mrs. VanderVlutch, GLP looks forward to the next opportunity to capture the couple.

Stacie Klewer and Brian Stankos- Toledo Wedding Photography

On October 2, 2010, Stacie and Brian committed their lives to one another. The wedding ceremony took place at St. Rose Parish. A beautiful reception followed in the glass pavilion at the Toledo Museum of Art.

A very classic, elegant look was captured in this photo.

The flower bouquets held by the bride and bridesmaids were gorgeous.

Stacie and Brian shared many kisses throughout their romantic day.

At the reception, many unique shots were taken at the art museum.

Cypress Barrow and Jacob Urrutia- Toledo Wedding Photography

Cypress and Jacob shared an exquisite wedding day on September 25, 2010. The ceremony was held at the Whiteford Greenhouse, which is also Cypress' home. The reception followed at Centennial Terrace. The day was expertly coordinated by Bee For The Day and Brooke Cobb.

This photo was taken moments after the couple first saw each other on their special day.

The colorful boutonnieres, by Keith Brooks Florist, matched the rest of the wedding decorations perfectly.

The elegant flowers and peacock feathers were a theme carried out in many aspects of the wedding, including the cake.

This was just one of the table decorations that was set out at the reception.

Stevie got to witness the couple's happiness on their wedding day, and wishes them many more happy days to come.

Brandy Taylor and Ben Hazzard- Put In Bay Wedding Photography

On September 25, 2010, Brandy and Ben vowed their lives to each other in Put In Bay. At Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, the couple said "I do." Following the ceremony, wedding guests and the couple went to Mr. Ed's Bar and Grille for the reception.

The couple shared romantic time at the vineyard before the wedding.

It was a beautiful day that allowed for many outdoor photos.

The groomsmen had fun with the group shots.

The couple cruised from the ceremony to reception in this cool, classic Hudson.

Bob enjoyed spending the day with the new Mr. and Mrs. Hazzard. GLP looks forward to Brandy and Ben coming back for more photo session in the future.

Nicole Bender and Chris McKenzie- Toledo Wedding Photography

Nicole and Chris shared their special day on September 25, 2010. A very classic ceremony was held at Grace Lutheran church. After the ceremony, friends and family gathered at Highland Meadows Golf Club for a fun time with the couple.

Nicole and Chris enjoyed cruising around on their golf cart at the reception.

This black and white pattern was seen in multiple aspects of the wedding, and complimented the diamonds beautifully.

Rose petals provided a splash of color to the very classic, elegant looking cake.

Where It All Started...

Grand Lubell Photography began as Lubell Studio exactly 39 years ago. In the company's first two years, Bob photographed over 70 weddings. Starting out, Lubell Studio also did many commercial jobs.

This dark room, which Bob built himself, is where all of the photo processing took place when it was all done by hand. So different from how it is done today!

Renee Zaccarell and Josh Friedrich - Toledo Wedding Photography

Family and friends gathered to see Renee and Josh give their vows on September 4, 2010. Both the ceremony and reception were held at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Toledo.

The stunning bride got a few photos taken alone before seeing Josh.

Stevie, the photographer, captured great shots of the couple outside of the Crown Plaza.

Stevie captured some of the fine details of the wedding.

Renee and Josh had a great sense of humor, and Stevie had fun making memories with them. GLP wishes them the best in their new marriage!

Banhi Burke and Andrew Gallegos- Toledo Wedding Photography

Banhi and Andrew tied the knot on September 18, 2010. They had a gorgeous outdoor ceremony at Nazareth Hall. Friends and family then gathered at Banhi's parents' house for the reception. The bride proudly wore a stunning red dress, which is traditional for an Asian-Indian wedding, which is her heritage.

Bob was able to capture beautiful photos of the couple before the ceremony.

The ceremony at the grotto was decorated very elegantly.

The lovely bride and her bridesmaids took some fun outdoor shots together.

Fun lights and decorations added a splash to the reception.

Bob enjoyed spending the day making memories with the new Mr. and Mrs. Gallegos. GLP wishes them many more happy days to come!

Shannon Reilly and Vinod Nannapaneni - Michigan Wedding Photography

GLP is known for being the most respected photographer amongst traditional ethnic families. We have compassion and understanding for the specialized needs of long time customs and traditions. Fortunately, we were given the opportunity to spend the day with Shannon and Vinod on August 28, 2010. An early Hindu wedding ceremony was held at the Hindu Temple. Later, a western ceremony was held at the home of the bride's mother.

These were Shannon and Vinod's ceremonial offerings during the Hindu wedding pooja.

Ethnic weddings often have beautiful vibrant cloths, flowers, and other decorations.

This guest's bright corsage complimented the rest of the colors at the wedding.

Flowers were placed in these glasses and used as gorgeous table decorations.

GLP greatly enjoyed sharing a part of culture with Shannon and Vinod on their wedding day. We wish the best for the new couple!

Ashley Hettle and Dino Santacroce - Toledo Wedding Photography

Ashley and Dino committed their lives to each other on August 21, 2010 at St. Catherine's. After the ceremony, they headed to The Pinnacle to celebrate for their reception.

Stevie, the photographer, captured some great shots of the couple in the gorgeous sunset.

Ashley and Dino gave up their diamonds for just a few minutes so Stevie could capture these photos.

Melissa Poulson and Jason Hanely - Toledo Wedding Photography

Melissa and Jason held their wedding ceremony at St. Ignatius on July 30, 2010. A fun-filled reception followed at the Sunrise Banquet Center.

Stevie, the photograher, incorporated many different aspects of the wedding in various photos.

The couple had many cool, classic cars that led them from the ceremony to the reception.

Having a designer as a bride provided fun, unique arrangements and decorations.

Congrats Kim and Steve! - Toledo Engagement Photography

Former GLP intern, Kim Shook, came back and brought her fiance, Steve Grunwell, for engagement photos!

The weather was beautiful on this Saturday morning shoot.

Stevie, the photographer, enjoyed spending time with the couple--especially getting to see Kim again.

Stevie captured a fairytale, "happily ever after" appearance in this unique photo.

Celeste Hosbach and Cory Lauer- Toledo Wedding Photography

On August 28, 2010, Celeste and Cory shared their special wedding day at the Maumee Bay Resort. We captured some stunning photographs of the bride and groom as well as other fun wedding shots.

This was just one of the many kisses that the couple shared.

Celeste and Cory had a very elegant, classy look in many of the photos taken.

The three-tier cake was lit beautifully by the sunset in the background.

Celeste's gorgeous diamonds glistened in the sunlight.
